White City A town small in population but big on patriotism. This town's population practically doubled over night during World War II.

SPOTLIGHT

The Camp White Museum has a collection that includes uniforms, medals, guns and letters and is located in the Veteran's Domiciliary, which served as the hospital for Camp White. Most of the museum's items are from the World War II period, but items from other TouVelle State Park is not too far from town. This beautiful park is on the Rogue River, and at the foot of the amazing Table Rocks. Here you can swim or fish Oregon just bird watch at the Denman Wildlife refuge which is next to the park.

Table Rocks, which were formed more than 9 million years ago, hosts a hiking trail up to the summit. You might just spot the flower that grows no where else in the world but on either of these two mesas.

You can find the Jackson County Sports Park here, which holds the Southern Oregon Dragway and the Southern Oregon Speedway. April through September you can see stock car racing and drag racing.
