The Town of Bonanza is located in the rich agricultural Lost River Valley 25 miles east of Klamath Falls on State Highway 70. Lost River flows through the easterly portion of Bonanza and serves as one of the sources of water for irrigation of agricultural lands in and surrounding the town. The elevation of the town is approximately 4,200 feet above sea level.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT:
The Common Council, made up of 5 elected officials, meets the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 2900 4th Ave. We encourage everyone to attend the meetings so they can be informed on what’s going on in their community.

PLANNING COMMITTEE:
The Planning Committee, made up of 5 people appointed by the Council, meets the last Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. All plans to build, remodel, etc. are first brought to the Committee for their approval. The Planning Committee then brings their recommendation to the Council. The Committee members are as follows:
